Cancellation Policy

Registration & Enrollment Eligibility: This program is designed for middle school participants (grades 6-8). Limited Enrollment: Seats are limited, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once full, a waitlist will be available. Program Format Virtual Sessions: Most sessions conducted via Zoom. Participants must have a computer/tablet with camera, microphone, and stable internet connection. In-Person Sessions: Participants will meet 2-3 times for hands-on experimentation at RAP Foundation in Palm Desert, CA. Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation. Specific dates provided at least two weeks in advance. Payment & Refund Policy Payment: Full payment required at registration to secure your spot. No Refund Policy: Due to limited seats and purchase of participant-specific materials, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued for any reason, including scheduling conflicts, illness, personal emergencies, or inability to attend sessions. SteamRocket Cancellation: If SteamRocket cancels the program, participants receive a full refund or credit toward a future program. Materials & Participation Materials Kit: Each participant receives a complete kit, including lunar regolith simulant and testing equipment, distributed at the first in-person session. Attendance: Regular attendance at virtual sessions is essential. Attendance at in-person experimentation sessions is mandatory. Recordings may be available for missed virtual sessions. Expected Behavior: Participants must demonstrate respect and responsibility, complete weekly assignments, and follow all safety guidelines. Health & Safety During in-person sessions, participants must follow all safety protocols. Parents/guardians must inform instructors of any allergies or medical conditions. Ill participants should not attend in-person sessions. Photo/Video Release By enrolling, parents/guardians grant permission for SteamRocket to photograph and record participants for promotional purposes. To opt out, notify us in writing at registration. Liability By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks and agree that SteamRocket, its staff, and RAP Foundation are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage. A detailed waiver must be signed before the first session. Acknowledgment By completing registration, you acknowledge you have read and agree to these policies.
